| At the second Formula SAE event of the year, the Rensselaer Formula SAE team has finished in the top 20, securing a 17th place overall finish. Held at the California Speedyway in Fontana, CA June 13-16, the team's finish included top 10 finishes in 5 of the 7 individual events. An unfortunate mechanical failure and DNF in the Endurance event prevented the team from finishing inside the top 10 overall.
Individual event finishes were as follows:
- Design - 7th (semifinals)
- Cost - 5th
- Presentation - 9th
- Acceleration - 8th
- Skidpad - 16th
- Autocross - 10th
- Endurance - 21st (DNF)

| 2007 Formula SAE Competition Results |

| For the first time in 10 years (8th of 96 in 1998), the Rensselaer Formula SAE team has finished in the top 10 at the annual Formula SAE competition, securing a 9th place overall finish. Held at the Ford Proving Grounds in Romeo, MI May 16-20, the team's finish was highlighted by a 2nd place finish in the acceleration event.
Individual event finishes were as follows:
- Design - 11th (semifinals)
- Cost - 24th
- Presentation - 7th
- Acceleration - 2nd
- Skidpad - 47th
- Autocross - 43rd
- Endurance - 12th

| The 2007 Roll Out took place April 2nd at the Heffner Alumni House. The Great Hall was filled with friends and family of the Formula SAE team as well as special guests President Jackson and her cabinet. The event was a huge success - everything ran smoothly and President Jackson pledged continuous support for the Formula project. Once again, the team would like to extend a huge thank you to all our sponsors. The project would not exist without their generosity.
